03 Jan 2017

Designer brands and retailers tell of their biggest sales days from shoppable catwalk shows but streaming and selling on your website with Webs innovative app will help drive sales all year.

Last year brands including Tom Ford, Burberry, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren staged their first “see now, buy now” shoppable catwalk shows. This new initiative enables customers to buy collections immediately after the catwalk and convert excitement into sales.

“We had our largest Tom Ford day of the year immediately following his New York show,” revealed Joshua Schulman, president of Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus Group International.

According to retail analytics platform Edited, e-commerce sites of Burberry, Ralph Lauren and Topshop Unique showed that three items from Burberry’s 175-piece “see now, buy now” womenswear collection sold out.

Rebecca Minkoff recorded a large sales increase after its shoppable catwalk show, sales across its stores and website increased 168 percent, compared to the weekend after its catwalk show last year.

“See now, buy now” catwalk shows had an immediate impact on sales - now you can now stream catwalk shows and simultaneously sell via your eCommerce platform online with Webs innovative Video Commerce Application.
